I agree, it's a nice idea. I think the best we could do is build in a step which first does an XML well-formedness step
and reports on that. God knows how I can find time to look at that. one day.

but really, oxgarage does assume in general that what you feed it is what you claim it is, so this
isn't a bug. its a UX issue.
