As Martin has posted on TEI-L the AdBlock filter creators seem to be 
responsive in changing the filter.  However, it might be a good idea to 
do this in any case.

However, my devil's advocate caveat still stands as a warning: We would 
be 'breaking' an awful lot of existing URLs that people might have 
bookmarked or referenced in publications.  'Breaking' because they'll 
still get the page, just not the right place on it.
