[tei-council] @points again, in relaxng

We agreed a few weeks ago that we wanted @points to accept 3 or more comma-separated pairs of
numbers. So in RELAXNG that may be

     xsd:token { pattern = "[0-9]+,[0-9]+" }

but then we said we also wanted real numbers and negative numbers.

So how exactly _does_ one say that in regexp land?

lord help us, is it

-?[0-9]+\.?[0-9]*,-?[0-9]+\.?[0-9]*

or am I being dense?
