Have a look at http://oxgarage.oucs.ox.ac.uk:8080/ege-webclient/

This is the test setup for our document conversion service which is
an enhancement of Enrich Garage.

Don't pass on the URL at the moment as a) it is not well tested, b) we
don't know whether it will collapse under use, and c) I want to put a cleaner
address on it

But feel free to use it and report any errors you find. If you like
it, we can make it run on tei-c.org (with TEI branding).

The Garage can do three types of things

 * the docx, odt and epub conversions we have developed at Oxford
 * simpler XML->XML conversions expressed as XSL (such as TEI to NLM, included)
 * anything OpenOffice 3 can do

But it also _chains_ conversions using any method it can. You pick a start format and and end format,
and it works out the path.

The result is controlled by "profiles", selected in the Advanced options. Not much variation
at present, but a place where it is easy to add overrides, alternate CSS, changed options
and so on.

And for Laurent, yes it can do ODD processing.

Did I mention
 a) it is NOT incredibly well tested?
 b) garbage in, garbage out. dont expect miracles
