[tei-council] Flights to Europe for the Dublin meeting

HI all,

I thought I should let everyone know that my trip to Dublin is looking a
bit endangered by this volcano thing. I'm due to fly to Manchester on
Monday, and then spend a week there getting un-jetlagged with family
before flying to Dublin the following week. If this chaos goes on, and
my flight next week is cancelled, it seems unlikely I'd be able to
rearrange it for later in the week, given the fact that millions of
people will be in a huge queue to be moved around the world as soon as
the skies open up again.

So if my flight goes on Monday, I should be able to get there one way or
another even if airports close again, because I can go by rail and ferry
to Dublin from Manchester. But if I don't get out on Monday, I'll
probably be screwed.

Is anyone else in a similar position?

Cheers,
Martin
