no, its OK, its all Gabby's fault (mostly anyway). He writes:

       <classSpec type="atts" ident="att.editLike" mode="change">
                    <attList>
                        <attDef ident="cert" mode="replace">
                            <valList type="closed">
                                <valItem ident="low"/>
                                <valItem ident="high"/>
                            </valList>
                        </attDef>
                    </attList>
                </classSpec>

but there _is_ no attribute @cert in att.editLike to replace.

My processing should have, but didnt, picked up the error.
@cert is in att.responsibility
