As it takes a bit of time to set things up to start with (you will 
probably need to download and install some client software), I thought 
I'd start the conference call earlier than advertised...

2. Enter your name and email address.
3. Enter the meeting password: poughkeepsie
4. Click "Join Now".


It will probably tell you that it is going to download something called 
"Meeting centre", which can take a few minutes. But you should 
eventually get connected.

You will see a screen with various options about dialling in -- ignore 
those unless you prefer to use a telephone. At the bottom of the box, 
where it says "connect via your computer" vel sim, click on that and you 
should be in...
