Dear all,
as Harold announced in Maryland, I am attending the ALLC committee
meeting this here in Leipzig. I am aware that a report on the state of
the TEI internationalisation project has been given to the TEI board in
Maryland.
Is there a document I can use to give a summary of this report to the
ALLC as member of the council as they asked me to do?
This is the only information I found on the meeting web page:
"Work on internationalization continued in 2007, and translations into
Japanese, Italian, Spanish, and French are now complete. Sebastian Rahtz
acknowledged the people who have done the work: Marcus Bingenheimer
(Chinese), Jean-Luc Benoit and Pierre-Yves Duchemin (French); Werner
Wegstein (German); Ohya Kazushi (Japanese); Carmen Arronis Llopis
(Spanish); Marco Venuti and Letizia Cirillo (Italian)."
Is there a more complete report somewhere? I don't think the ALLC has
ever minuted a full report on this work and they are keen to know more
about its progress.
