Let me propose a detail, then.

This is that we release 1.0.1 on 1st January, with
typos and clarifications to the prose _only_, and that
we announce this now. We can also say that this will
include a PDF version.

Do we think finalizing the formatting of the printed page
can be done in that time? I am looking for someone
to engage in this design process.....
