I worried about this.

Sourceforge triggers an announcement, is the problem,
whereas the web site does not.

I was scared to completely rely on networking
at Maryland, so it seemed safest to get it in place
for new web site, etc etc while I still knew I had
connectivity, bandwidth etc.
