Personally, I agree with you that they should be case sensitive, but
it's not *still*. Apple went to a lot of work to make a Unix-based
system case insensitive. And I gather there are lots of Mac users who
appreciate this. As I read recently "My dog is named Spot. When I
call 'spot', I still want him to come."

No, as I said, the error occurs on checking out a fresh working copy.

I am saying that both Mac and Windows users are currently excluded,
until we fix this, which we should do ASAP. I'm going to be away from
e-mail for the next hour or two, but can poke around some more then,
if needed.
