which simply cannot work with unitless coordinates! either you
must have a unit, or coordinates must be proportions of an overall
width and height limit.

If <surface> said " width=400 height=800", then a @coords value
of "10,20" makes sense. But not otherwise.

Though how I would work out that a <surface> was 400 x 800, I know not.....
