Forgot to mention --

There is a hole in the definition of <said>'s aloud= attribute: what
is coded as aloud="true" really should include speech that is
expressed in sign language, also. At the moment I'm inclined to just
change the wording of the attribute description so that sign language
is included, but perhaps the entire attribute has to be rethought.
