If @rend says it is for source description only,
then my born-digital document
can't use it. So how _do_ I indicate superscript?
Currently I say '2<hi rend="sup">nd</hi>', and all is ok.
In future, putting @rend in there is deprecated, but I
need _some_ clue.
Answers of
- use an xml:id and trap it in CSS
- define <oxford:sup>
are unacceptable. So now I should
say:
<hi html:class="sup">nd</hi>
? but of course that has an impact
on the complexity of my ODD, if I have to
add html:class to att.global. Plus, I am
not conformant?
