[tei-council] use of Schematron in TEI: yes or no?

As for Schematron, Mr. Chair, I am going to suggest a specific path,
as follows. If Council has not explicitly stated one way or the other
and no one has explicitly posted a "hold" to this list by the end of
October, as of November 01 the answer is "yes, the TEI Guidelines
will use Schematron to express some contraint rules; the editors
should fee free to insert them as they see fit.".
