I'm embarrassed to admit that for a while I thought there was no word
"forename" only because TEI used "foreName" not "forename". I would
guess it's a mistake, but would like to hear what the reasoning was
(if any) at the time. Anyone know who was on the Subcommittee on
Names, Dates,and Measures?
