Personally, I don't care whether or not N. was unlucky or lucky in love. It
is incredibly irrelevant. I believe he says somewhere that it is easier to
make a great man look small than it is to make a small man look great. Or,
as an old Huddie Lebetter song goes, "It's a bourgeois town..."
