      The 35th Anniversary and Reunion Conference of the Black Panther
    Party will be hosted by the It's About Time Committee. The Reunion will be
      held at the University of the District of Columbia, 4200 Connecticut
      Ave., NW, on October 11-14, 2001. The focus of the conference will
    be on Cointelpro and Political Prisoners. Some of the speakers already
      committed to attend are Bobby Seale, Kathleen Cleaver,geronimo ji
      jaga,Safiya Bukhari, Kiilu Nyasha,Nzinga Conway, and Ameejill
    Whitlock.

      The conference will include panel discussions on political prisoners
    and cointelpro. There will also be many workshops on issues of social
      justice and organizing. There will be ongoing video showings and
      photographic exhibits as well as historical memorabilia. We will
    have reports on the UN Conference on Racism in South Africa and
    information regarding the Cuban conference on political prisoners in
    November.
    The conference is open to all people concerned with issues of social
    justice.

      We would be happy to accept tax-deductible donations to help offset

    Panther Party memorabilia, including newspapers, photos, buttons, posters and
      other material.
