Dear Sixties list,
I'd like to hear from participants, eyewitnesses, scholars, etc. of the
Newport Jazz Festival riot of July 2-3, 1960. I'm researching a Langston
Hughes' poem (ASK YOUR MAMA) written, in part, in response to this event.
