    Peter Levy mentioned the Gay Manifesto.

    It was written by Carl Wittman, not Carl Davidson. Both were in SDS but very
    different people. Carl W. was a key SDS person at Swarthmore, graduated '64,
    co-wrote SDS'sInterracial Movement of the Poor with Tom Hayden (based on
    community organizing Carl & the Swarthmore folks were then doing), worked
    first in Newark ERAP project, then Hoboken ERAP, then came to SF (where he
    wrote the Gay Manifesto).
