I'd just like to echo Tom Nagy's comments on the relevancy of discussing Israel's actions toward the Palestinians on a list dedicated to the 1960s. The Sixties, if "about" anything, were about challening state power and especially state terror, whether it be the U.S. or Israel, whether in Vietnam or Palestine. Nothing, it seems, is more relevant. Frankly, if the moderator [sorry for the correct spelling] deems it necessary to excise any debate, it would be far more useful to pull the plug on anything having to do with Horowitz, which is about ego, not the 60s.
