The book of transcripts from the New Hampshire Red Diaper Babies
conferences of the early 1980s is called "Red Diaper Babies: Children of
the Left." It was edited by Judy Kaplan and Linn Shappiro and came out in
1985. It was privately printed and copies could be ordered directly
from Judy Kaplan, who then lived in Somerville, MA and may still.
A more formal book of essays, edited by the same two, came out in 1999
from Illinois, "Red Diapers: Growing Up in the Communist Left."
Anyone interested might also take a look at two documentaries by Eric
Stange, "Children of the Left" and "Love in the Cold War," (about the
Dennis family).
