Can anyone tell me the origin of the term "Beautiful People," AKA B.P.?
Wasn't it early Tom Wolfe? And how would you define them? I'm saying
    "weathy wannabes."

This term is used in a fascinating account of an ending in the art world:
Barbara Rose, "Profit Without Honor," New York 6, no. 45 (November 5, 1973):
80-81. I'm in last moments of completing book on art/culture of late '60s.

    Thank you,
