>I would like to notify subscribers to the Sixties-list and other
interested parties of my new book, "America in the Sixties, Right, Left,
and Center: A Documentary History," (Westport, CT: Praeger, 1998),
edited by Peter B. Levy (the author of this post).

And I would like to alert Sixties subscribers to the newly published
"Vietnam: Reflexes and Reflections," a coffee table-sized art/history book
co-published by Harry N. Abrams and the Vietnam Veterans Art Museum in
Chicago.

Fortune magazine lauded the book for being the first of its kind to bring
Vietnam War artwork to a mass audience, and that art work--which took 17
years to compile--does have a "terrible beauty" to it, as Fortune said.
Added bonus: the vignettes written by the Vietnam vets who did the artwork
is compelling and incisive.
