Let me recommend the Chicago Seed underground paper available on microfilm
at many libraries and through interlibrary loan--also check out the Black
Panther newspaper(same availability). Also take a look at the film "The
Murder of Fred Hampton". In addition, the various Panther autobiographies
(both old and new) are valuable for context although most of them deal with
the Oakland and LA branches. You may want to check out Bobby Seale's web
site and try to interview him and other Panthers--Roz Payne (on this list)
has a mountain of information regarding COINTELPRO ops against some of the
Panthers. Check out old Ramparts from 1969-1970.....
