Women Civil Rights Leaders

For the member who was asking about women in
the civil rights movement:

The Oklahoma City woman whose name I was
trying to remember is Clara Luper, who was
famous for organizing sit-ins at segregated lunch

She is still alive and you might be able to find
her through directory assistance. If not, try the
OkC Urban League or NAACP.
