Maggie:

According to the most recent scientific research (the chart under my plate in
the local Chinese restaurant), 1969 was the year of the "cock." It says:
"COCK" 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005 (A pioneer in spirit, you are devoted to work and
quest after knowledge. You are selfish and eccentric. Rabbits are trouble.
Snakes and Oxen are fine.)

I hope this helps

You might want to try this website which has a database of dates and Chinese
Zodiac signs:http://www.rainfall.com/horoscop/ You also can simply direct
your search engine towards Chinese zodiac or Asian Astrology, etc. to come up
with lots of sites on this and related topics.
