Pamela DesBarres's book "I'm With the Band" and "Going Down With Janis"
(sleazy but interesting) by I forget-whom are the only primary sources I
know of.
Surely there's been stuff written on Cynthia Plastercaster.
What an interesting subject, Kim. For deep background you might want to
look at "Minor Characters" by Joyce Johnson, who wrote about the
hangers-on to the fifties Beats.
