Another alternative worth exploring, given what Sandra Hollin Flowers has
written, is to incorporate sixties texts, themes, etc. into larger courses
- I teach a course on the sixties, but have also used sixties units or
modules in other courses - such as one on Critics of American Society -
that looked at the Populists, the FSA photographers of the 1930s, and the
sixties - students loved it and did some interesting comparative work on
themes -
