Jonah Raskin, familiar to many on this list, had a review in the
February 16 San Francisco Chronicle Book Review section of
_Disarmed and Dangerous: The radical lives and times of Daniel
and Philip Berrigan_, by Murray Polner and Jim O'Grady (Basic
Books; 434 pages; $30). He says _Disarmed and Dangerous_ "isn't
the definitive biography of the Berrigans, but it's the best so
far. Thanks to Polner and O'Grady, it seems highly unlikely that
anyone will every again write about the 1960s and cast the
Berrigans as understudies to the major actors of the era."

Another reminder of how varied and complex the events of that
period were.
