I am an English student doing a dissertation on American
Antiwar experience during the Vietnam era . I am looking
at nonviolent responses to the war by U.S citizens .
I am especially interested in the role of protest songs
as the ultimate nonviolent statement . I would love to
hear from people who were inspired by the wonderful songs
, such as " I feel like I'm fixin' to die rag " by
Country Joe ; also if there are any musicians out there
who would like to make a contribution , I would be
extremely grateful .
I want the project to really capture the spirit of
protest , and I feel that the best way to do this is to
include statements from the people who lived through that
time .
Thanks for taking the time to read this ,
Kevin Joseph .
