all (meaningful) art in the sixties pales in relation to and is derivative
of the Acid Tests, which was an entirely new form encompassing music,
light, literature, acid, etc., as part of what Kesey termed the Neon
Renaissance. In fact it was meant to be (I think) some kind of life or
living literature.

Never antyhing like it previously and certainly nothing to rival or equal
it since.
