Andi's point of view on multi-culturalism is right on the money. Until
sometime in the late fifties or early sixties there existed what a friend
of mine calls "a one-way America" and there was no other way to approach
any subject or issue but that one way. That has been broken open, and
multi-culturalism is one aspect of that break. One-way America is
gone, but it is not yet buried and there are many out there who would like
to bring it back, and they come under names, styles and from all across
the political spectrum.
