To sixties-l subscribers.
Nancy has made some very relevant points. On the Lubbock Texas Conference,
from information supplied re. America winning the Cold War, it appears I
should not feel down about missing the affair as I originally did.
However, as an "anti-communist" according to Grover Furr, I would like
to applaud his suggestions for reading and the source material on his
Web Page. I have not had time to read all of it myself but, at least,
reference sources and material is there to read and debate with. This is
far more preferable to certain mail equating 60s radicalism with Jim Jones
of Guyana infamy or that pathetic proclamation by Colby et al at Lubbock,
Texas, flying in the face of all logic, rationality, and documented evidence.
The more source material we have cited for our particular investigations
the better. Then, the sixties-l page becomes a really valuable educational
resource for learning and debate.
