Sixties Folk,

I have recently accepted a position as Professor at Arizona International
University, a brand new campus of the University of Arizona devoted to
learner-centered education, interdisciplinary scholarship, and global
studies. It's an exciting project, and I'm delighted to be a part of it.
However, the move across country to Tucson and the disruption it will cause
for Viet Nam Generation, Inc. make it impossible for us to hold the Sixties
Generations Conference in 1996.

THE 1996 SIXTIES GENERATIONS CONFERENCE WILL BE POSTPONED.

WE WILL HOLD THE NEXT SIXTIES GENERATIONS CONFERENCE IN OCTOBER, 1997.

Despite the immediate chaos caused by the move, I believe that in the long
run Viet Nam Generation, Inc., the _Viet Nam Generation_ journal, and our
small press will be strengthened by the change. I am sure that the Sixties
Generations conference will flourish, and I think that the increased lead
time will allow us to plan a really spectacular event for 1997.

Best,
Kali
