Restored service to SIXTIES-L

Sixties Folk,

We'd like to apologize for the interrupted service SIXTIES-L has suffered
since 9 February. IATH, which hosts SIXTIES-L, had some severe problems
with majordomo and listproc over the last six weeks. Mail which was sent
to SIXTIES-L during that period was lost, and the listproc refused to
accept commands like "subscribe," "unsub," and "review." We believe that
everything is in working order now, and we're back on-line--hopefully for
good.

Special thanks are due to Dot Akinola, John Unsworth and Paul Jones of
IATH, for their efforts to fix SIXTIES-L.

If you sent mail to SIXTIES-L between 9 February and 17 March and you
have not seen it appear on the list, you should assume that it has been
lost in the e-ther, and forward us a new copy if you have one. If you
have been trying to give the listproc a command and it hasn't worked, try
again now; everything seems functional at the moment.

It's good to be back.
