I have to agree with Bob. I liked the book as well. I thought
it was funny and I liked the literalness of it. Its strangess
is appealing and contagious. I found myself at CVS last night
thinking about the stuff Baker talked about. It was weird. I
thought is presented a literal reflection of our consumerist
society. Not really bashing it like WN does but just
reflecting it. It just brought to mind how many things we take
for granted like perforations, etc. But what would we do if
those things-these inconveniences-were no longer here for us to
take advantage of.
