I'm having trouble deciding what kind of movie that was. I mean, for
the first half it was a kind of suspense/detective/? movie. If it had
ended with the EM pulse and the plane losing power, it would have been a
very good ironic study of the futility of something or other. But as it
is, all I can really say is that it was a long movie. Am I the only one
who completely missed the point?
I will say that the second half, all of the brain wave stuff, was
pretty interesting, but it didn't work in this film. It needed to be
its own story. The first half just didn't set up that kind of
philosophical questioning. And the ending was lame.
