Yeah, the family seems so caught up with death that they are letting it
affect them as if they already lost someone. On the other hand, perhaps the
fear of death is what keeps people living. In Galatea, Helen had no fear of
death so she had no problems deciding to shut herself down. Maybe if we
weren't afraid of death, we wouldn't think twice about suicide.
