i'm still struggling with the mapedit. when i try to open
mapedit in the jefferson unix account it tells me that it can't
open the display.
i have no idea what i'm doing wrong. i've tried opening it from
within my directory and also from /institute/bin.
am i suppose to be uncompressing something first or what?
