This is a critique of Group 1 etiquette project.

The string of do's and dont's was fabulous. I love that it
got faster and the colors kept changing and the script got
stranger as the string unraveled. I like the way the program
allows you to go back to past images in the screen but you can
still not stay there very long. More strings!
The head with the red background looks very good but I
couldn't get anywhere from there. The string example works so
well. I think strings from the head would be great. What are
you planning to do there?
I like the opening page. I like the feeling of a beginning.
Especially when I lose control later in the project. Also the
theoretical page was good. THough I wish there were more links
from the theory to the project.
When I got to the sample pages, I could only pull one up. I
remember pulling up more in the past so maybe this was a
personal computer mistake. I like how the sample pages are not
centered and not horizontally directed. I think different
backgrounds to the pictures would enhance the browns in the
samples.
There is the mixing of the etiquette of the very old and the
computer rules of the very new that is so obvious and clever
and bewildering in this project. I definitely did not grow
board; I only wanted more samples and more strings.
The cover page outlay got me ready for the amusing research
ahead. I hope you keep the same outline there.
More than anything, the idea behind the project
works well with the head picture and the strange"mind/head" of
the computer and the mouse. I'm very taken by a loss of rules
possibly in our culture over the years, or a change in rules, coupled with the
inescapable "rules" of the computers amd this project, i.e., the
strings.

See you tomorrow,
