My name is Amber Jones and I'm a fourth year English major in
the American Studies program. I'm pretty inexperienced about
the whole computer thing; I'm familiar with the web but don't
know a thing about hypertext. I'm taking this class because I
want to eventually go to Georgetown for their Communications
and Culture program, and one of the prerequisites is a strong
familiarity with the web. Even though I'm clueless, I'm
enthusiastic. With the way job interviews have been going,
grad school is sounding better and better. As for the project,
most of my interests lie in cultural studies of media representations;
modern films, books, etc. I am not picky however, and won't be
upset if group 3 would rather focus on something else. See you
all Friday.
