Below is a list of readings on markup. For the 11/14 session, we suggest
that you take a look at the 3 starred items, which are short, relatively
recent, and lay out some of the current debates about markup in general
and SGML/TEI in particular. If you have more time to kill, look at
Sperberg-McQueen et al. and the piece about "just in time" markup.
We've given URLs for most items, but note that the web version is often
not the final version.
