Early rain this morning put me off the idea of going out for the day, so I've been hanging around at home most of the time. And I don't want to end up being bored at home with nothing to do. Plunk has successfully satisfied the federal training requirements and passed the nationally recognized exam.
I would rather take on doing temp work, until a good offer comes my way.
The festival does take its toll on this town.
But it was a controlled fright, because I always knew I was in no actual danger.
That can't be good for me, can it?
You'd have thought that the US TV techies could have provided recordings without the logo before now. And the rest is just down to finding the time to edit and upload the files on a regular basis.
But I'm hoping that this brief reunion will be the spark that we all need to keep in better contact in the future. It felt a bit strange to have the bar open for normal business while filming was in progress, but also interesting for us to be in the midst of all this action.
Even with the usual summer lull, there's still been a steady flow of decent jobs over the last few weeks, which indicates a fairly bouyant employment market. But that hasn't quite happened. The festival does take its toll on this town.
Sure, it'll be great to have a rest.
But for the rest of the day, I just filled time. Some of their number are modestly decent musicians, and can actually hold a tune.

Certainly, yesterday I felt really quite fragile, and didn't get much done, except for a quick visit to the supermarket for supplies during the afternoon.
And best of all, it felt almost as if we had never been apart.
But sometimes being overwhelmed with activity is unavoidable, and so this GTD idea intrigues me. But they were as naught, in comparison to what was coming later in the day. This comes after almost a year of broadcasting the show here in the UK with the strange blur in the corner. But therein lies their charm. This departing friend had organised his final farewell drinks in one of Edinburgh's most famous public houses.
