Well....
We have all been silenced by the start of term. As we don't have a
chair to wake us up I propose that we have a phone conference. If
everyone is agreeable I will organize and lead the first phone
conference. Can each of you can send me your weekly schedule in terms
of Hamilton (ET) time. Just tell me when you are free between 8:00am
to 6:00pm Hamilton/ET time. I will find (I hope) a slot and organize
an inaugural phone conference to take place in the next couple of
weeks. The way it will work is that I will send you a number to call
and pin for the conference. It will last no more than 2 hours. If
this works we can rotate the responsibility of setting up future
conferences.
I assume that the ACH/ALLC will reimburse McMaster for the cost of
the phone conference. For help with time zones and what ET time is

If anyone objects please send a note to the list. Is this a way forward?
