Dear all,

Can anyone point me at studies or statistics concerning the number of
scholar/scientific publications
in digital format published yearly?

In particular, I am interested in:

- the general trend over the last 5 - 10 years or so
- trends across different disciplines and/or different types of
publications (journals, articles, handbooks, ...)
- parallel between publications only electronic - electronic & on paper
