Willard,

When you are working at a computer station or with a laptop are there
windows near by? I ask, and invite subscribers to Humanist to contemplate
the question, because Geoffrey Rockwell has recently uploaded some
pictures of "learning spaces". His accompanying commentary is a paean to
light: natural light streaming to illuminate the niches where folks
gather. Very enlightening as to the material practices made available to
higher education by the built environment. See
