         Subject: cyberinfrastructure public meeting - Los Angeles, CA

The ACLS Commission on Cyberinfrastructure for the Humanities and Social
Sciences will hold a public information-gathering session in the Leavey
Auditorium of the Leavey Library of USC, on Saturday, September 18th,
2004. There will be two sessions, one from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and one from
1:30-3:30 pm, with lunch in between.

The event is free and open to the public, but we would appreciate knowing
if you plan to attend, so that we can provide lunch for everyone. Please
