Applications are invited from graduates for this post as part of the
exciting and innovative Cistercians in Yorkshire project, funded by the
New Opportunities Fund. This project will create an interactive web-based
learning package exploring Yorkshires medieval Cistercian abbeys through 3D
reconstructions of their buildings and linked text pages. The appointee
will create the three-dimensional models; digitise images of the abbeys; and
be involved with the other members of the project team in creating the
learning package. Applicants must have experience in computer based drawing
or modelling and an interest in History is desirable. The post is tenable
for three years from 1 November 2001 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Salary: 17,451 19,486
