             Subject: summaries of work?

I would be grateful to know in which fields and by what means published
research that significantly involves computing is identified as such and
reported on. Is the best place to look the annual meetings of scholarly
societies? Can anyone give me examples, preferably with URLs?

    Thanks.

    Yours,
    WM
